Central Way is an ambitious commercial scheme proposed for the heart of Altrincham, designed to re-invigorate the town centre by blending A-class offices with new leisure spaces. The development aimed to transform a long-neglected back street into an activated space, contributing to the town’s ongoing regeneration. By strategically connecting two key arterial routes through Altrincham, Central Way looked to create a seamless flow between these thoroughfares while introducing a new, thoughtfully designed open space for building users and the wider community.

Although the scheme was ultimately shelved, VIEW believes that Central Way would have been a brilliant addition to Altrincham’s town centre, enhancing the urban landscape and fostering a more dynamic community environment. VIEW remains proud of the concept and its potential to energize our hometown of Altrincham.
